An application that presents a graphical map or scorecard of key performance indicators (KPI, metrics) in real time while current action might be able to correct the situation. In older systems information usually came after the fact. Initially, scorecards were available only to higher-level executives. The trend is to make them available to all employees who work to performance goals.
